Clifton Highlands welcomes Gary Blaisdell to our professional golf staff as our Guest Instructor for the summer. He will be on property through the end of August. Gary is a native of Ellsworth, Wisconsin and comes to us from Phoenix, Arizona where he is Director of Instruction at Briarwood Country Club in Sun City West, and a Guest Instructor at Ocotillo Golf Club in Chandler. Gary is a former PGA Professional and has conducted scores of seminars for PGA Organizations worldwide. He was a golf industry executive for nearly 20 years, and has over 46 years of experience in teaching, sales, strategic planning, research and development, and business management. He is hands-on and proactive.
Recognized by his peers and industry analysts alike, Gary was selected as the Southwest Section PGA Club Fitter of the Year in 1987 and went on to win the prestigious National Award the following year. He is one of the pioneers of modern-day club fitting. He authored the industry’s first club and putter fitting manuals designed to integrate equipment with meaningful instruction and learning modes. Gary is widely recognized by his peers and students as an expert in both power and short game. And you will experience a putting lesson like no other.
